Kimchi Pancake



  • 1 cup kimchi, chopped plus 2 tablespoons kimchi juice

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup ice-cold water

  • 1 tbs corn starch

  • 3 scallions, chopped

  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • optional: 1/2 cup of bacon, chopped



  1. Mix the kimchi, flour, water, corn starch, and scallions (and bacon if you are adding it) in a bowl

  2. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over high heat

  3. Pour in the batter using a ladle and spread it thinly

  4. Cook until crispy for about 3-5 minutes

  5. Flip over and cook for another 3-5 minutes

  6. Serve on a large plate; enjoy!
