Based in Fort Wayne, IN, True Kimchi is a Woman-Owned and Korean Immigrant Owned company handcrafting authentic kimchi in small batches the traditional way.
Kimchi is a traditional side dish in Korean cuisine comprised of fermented vegetables. Its probiotics are derived from the natural process of lacto-fermentation in the salted vegetables. We make our kimchi using sacred family recipes, handed down from generation to generation.
Our kimchi is raw and alive with probiotics for gut health and immune health, in addition to being packed with prebiotics derived from garlic, ginger, and onion. It also contains high levels of vitamin A, B, and C, and antioxidants.


MEET THE FOUNDER
A 1.5 generation Korean immigrant, Samantha Yim was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea until she and her immediate family moved to Phoenix, AZ in 2003. She learned how to make kimchi at a young age by watching and helping her mom make big batches of kimchi every fall for her family.
In 2018, after moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana, Sam immediately began her quest for good kimchi. When the search failed, she began making it at home, and soon after at local farmers markets. Today, True Kimchi can be found at health food stores, grocery stores, restaurants, and food trucks all over Indiana and Ohio.
