FAQ

DOES KIMCHI HAVE TO BE REFRIGERATED?

Yes. Refrigeration will slow down the fermentation process. We highly suggest keeping fermented foods refrigerated to preserve quality!

HOW DO I EAT KIMCHI?

There are no rules how to eat kimchi!

Kimchi is a great topping/condiment for:

  • breakfast sandwiches

  • salads

  • avocado toast

  • tacos

  • sandwiches & burgers

  • rice bowls

Some of our customers eat it straight out of the jar!

THE LID IS BULGING/IT OVERFLOWED AND FIZZED WHEN I OPENED THE JAR. IS IT SAFE TO EAT?

Yes. Carbon dioxide is a byproduct of fermentation, which can result in bulging lid and/or fizzing and overflowing when the jar is first opened. It means the kimchi is alive with good-for-you bacteria!
